The Pastor's Wife: Why I left...
The expectation of the Pastor's wife being involved with everything in the Church still happens today, irrespective of whether she enjoys what she is called to do or not.
The reality of the Pastor and his wife being full time in the ministry of pastoring a church is a sad and unspoken case of getting two for the price of one scenario. There is so much more to this scenario, that it becomes emotionally taxing, physically draining and spiritually susceptible.
I found that as important as it is for the Pastor's wife having the need to continously please her husband/pastor and the Church in everything, is not always the best thing to do.
This is the reason why its important to prioritise what you want and need to do and it will lead you to leave some things.
