The Pastor's Wife: She is a gift
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14

She was created...

Fearfully meaning: exceptionally, extremely, exceedingly, remarkably, uncommonly, extraordinarily, incredibly, most, very, really, immensely, thoroughly, positively, decidedly...

Wonderfully meaning:  a miracle, a marvel, excites or calls forth wonder...

She already comes prepared with amazing abilities and gifts. Her gifts are meant to be of service to God's people, and yet some of the people choose not to receive and appreciate her.

God, Jehovah Jireh, the Giver of the Gift did not forget as to why He sent the Pastor's Wife to serve His people.

The Pastor's Wife: Why I left...

The expectation of the Pastor's wife being involved with everything in the Church still happens today, irrespective of   whether she enjoys what she is called to do or not.

The reality of the Pastor and his wife being full time in the ministry of pastoring a church is a sad and unspoken case of getting two for the price of one scenario. There is so much more to this scenario, that it becomes emotionally taxing, physically draining and spiritually susceptible.

I found that as important as it is for the Pastor's wife having the need to continously please her husband/pastor and the Church in everything, is not always the best thing to do.

This is the reason why its important to prioritise what you want and need to do and it will lead you to leave some things.

The Pastor's Wife: Doubt out!

The doubt you experience is from the enemy. Doubt is always fake!

There are so many reasons why we as the Pastor's Wife would doubt most things that we do. We continously doubt in who we are as a woman. Doubt is subtle and a crafty foe that patiently waits with every hurtful remark you hear.  It is amazing how we know and hate that doubt is a challenge, but we still allow it to manipulate our mind and our lifestyle.

The scripture says it clearly in  Romans 7:15 "I really dont understand myself,  for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead I do what I hate".

We must realise that the effects of doubt, affects the people around us.  The saddest part of this realisation is that there are some people in our life that notices our doubt and the action that follows and they rejoice in our failures.

Whatever our reason might be for our doubt in our mind, it is so deep that we wonder if we ever going to get out of the "hell hole".

If our battles don't challenge us, we will never taste victory and never experience a doubt free,  righteous living.

In Jeremiah 32:27 "I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples in the world. Is anything too hard for me?" As a result of who God is in our lives, we receive and have understanding in who we are as a woman.

This will empower us to respond with a right mind and everything else will follow.  Our response will be different. Our circumstances will be right. Our atmosphere will be better and our hearts will healthier.

So be encouraged and doubt it out!

Stay blessed!
